Melvin Buckner and Greg Malec working for Amistee Air Duct did an exemplary job at my home. The company called a week before, and day before to confirm appointment. Melvin called at 10 minutes from house to insure someone was home.
These gentlemen worked quietly, seamlessly, and reviewed all parts of the cleaning process. They left my house clean and straighten and emailed before and after pictures.

Amistee and their people were great. Everyone involved in the process (Donna who answered the phone, and the technicians Devin and Tyler) was friendly and efficient. The "12 reasons to call" Amistee Process you can read on their site is exactly what I experienced. In addition, they also gave me some tips on furnace filters and my whole house humidifier. Since I had just bought the house I had no idea what condition the ducts were in. It turns out they weren't too bad, but even so it was easy to see the difference between the before and after pictures they provided, and now I have the peace of mind of knowing for sure.

Barry was extremely thorough. During his first visit to our home, he found a trouble spot that would prevent him from doing the cleaning as thoroughly as he likes. He suggested an access panel be placed descreetly in our ceiling. He suggested we have new filters ready to replace the old once he cleaned the ducts. He also suggested we have the ducts cleaned on a warmer day as both furnaces would be shut off for 4-5 hours. It was 15 degrees outside...so his was very helpful info! He came back to the house 2 weeks later and I was ready for him (and it was warmer outside!) He and Greg worked efficiently and were very mindful of my newly painted walls. They both wore booties to protect my carpets and also worked around my two pets nicely. Once finished, Barry patiently walked me through the proper care and replacement of my variety of filters. He took pictures and repeated when I had questions. We believe that our air quality was noticeably improved by evening. Very happy we got this service done and we would use Barry at Amistee again!

Barry came out and cleaned our air ducts, and did an exceptional job. He was on time, knowledgeable, informative and a very friendly guy. He definitely took his time to explain what he was doing and complete the work - including cleanup and everything. He even used his personal experience and professional knowledge to help answer questions I had related to my duct work and vents. Best of all, he didn't kick me out of the basement while I hovered to watch and learn the process. Would highly recommend having Barry out to clean your ducts.
